Lapworth Cricket Club Fun Day - SUPER SUNDAY July 12th.

 

The highlight of the day is the battle for the Orcutt Cup against our bitter local rivals Rowington which commences at 2.30pm. The game which will be a 40 over’s per side winner takes all contest which will be very keenly fought with Rowington bidding to win back the Orcutt Cup that Lapworth have held since 2004.

 

Virtually all of the groups and organisations within Lapworth including the Youth Club, Brownies, WI, Players, PTA, Elderberries, History, Tangent, Spear, Lees Chapel and the Village Hall will be represented at the Fun Day. There will be many stalls selling cakes, plants, character clocks, Usborne books a History of Lapworth stall, vintage car collection and a tombola to name but a few. A bouncy castle, face painting stall, penalty shoot out and a hurdy gurdy machine will also be operation during the day.

 

Food and drink including a pig roast, barbecue and Henley Ice Cream will be available during the Fun Day and in addition a licensed bar and soft drinks station as well as teas and coffees will be on offer.

 

Entry to the ground costs just £2.50 per adult with children under 15 free. Limited FREE car parking is available so we suggest you come early to secure your space.

 

Admission to the ground is from 1.45pm with the BIG MATCH and all the attractions commencing 45minutes later so please come along and enjoy a really great family/local day out.

 

A donation from the proceeds on the day will be made to Air Ambulance.
